The BOCA Basic Building Code, 13th Edition published by the Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc., in 1996, as from time to time supplemented and amended, is adopted as the building code of the city, for the control and regulation of buildings, building improvements, and structures as is in the BOCA Code made and provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, terms and conditions of the BOCA Building Code, as from time to time supplemented and amended, are adopted and incorporated herein the same as if same were set forth herein verbatim, as the building code of the city.
